The 400 is similar to the model 400HD, the main difference being the way its dumps the debris. It weighs 860 kilos and can dump up to 1,100 kilos of debris in its 0.75 cubic metre hopper.
Its hydraulic dump discards material neatly on the ground. Within one hour, the model 400 beach cleaner can effectively clean up to 1.22 hectares.
The Barber fits to any standard 4-wheel drive tractor, ideally 60-80HP via a category 1 or 2 drawbar on the link arms. The machine requires one single acting spool valve from the tractor and ideally a set of front end weights or front end loader to compensate the weight on the link arms and aid traction in soft sand.
Optional extras are complete galvanising, automatic finisher, castor wheels and a hydraulically operated moldboard.
