The E-Sandman is an electric walk-behind beach cleaner and is suitable to clean beaches where conventional tractors and beach cleaners cannot operate or where access is very limited; underneath piers, around beach amusements, furniture and golf course bunkers.
The E-Sandman elevates the sand onto a vibrating screen that separates broken glass, plastic, cigarette ends, bottle tops, stones etc into the hopper whilst returning the sand back onto the beach. It is lightweight and manoeuvrable, aided by independent brakes on each wheel and a differential lock to assist in soft sand conditions.
The E-Sandman is powered by a HONDA GXE2.0H 2kW class brushless DC motor, Integrated type, quick charging compact lithium-ion battery with run time up to 2 hours with high flotation rubber tires that provide excellent traction in sand but will not harm grass or paved surfaces. It comes with a battery charger, 2 x batteries and 3 interchangeable sieves.
It can clean up to 1,400-3,200 square metres per hour. The hopper capacity is 20 litres and will clean to a depth of 10cm. It has a cleaning width of 85cm. The entire frame is hot dipped galvanised for corrosion resistance.
Optional extras for the machine are towed seat, front blade and a transport wheel.
